Back in Black

10 Feb

That’s better – I felt a bit exposed with all that whiteness.

A bit nekkid.

Talking of nekkid (see the linkage?) my local Sheriff Court has just locked Stephen Gough up for another 21 months.

Sheriff Lindsay Foulis really needs to get a grip. In April last year he released a convicted sex pest, James Philip, on the grounds that there was no point sentencing him to a custodial sentence as he’d be released anyway. When you’re that disillusioned with your job, that you see no point in actually doing it, really it’s high time to retire.

You really have to wonder that.the.fuck. is going on when in the same court house a dangerous sexual predator like Martin Jones is released on bail one week and the Naked Rambler is locked away for nearly 2 years the next. Even Jones last sentence for stalking a 12 year old girl in the city centre almost immediately he was released from a previous sentence for threatening to rape a 14 year old was a mere 18 months. It’s not ludicrous to think Jones would only get a publicly acceptable sentence for his crimes if he was actually naked when perpetrating them. Or not perpetrating them, since being naked alone is apparently a far more heinous crime than targeting children for sexual gratification

I think Stephen Gough needs more support…

naked rambler 2Seriously I’ve seen more flesh on display on any random Saturday night in the town.

It has cost the taxpayer hundreds of thousands of pounds to lock this guy up.

I’m disgusted.

With the fuckwit  Sheriffs.

Not Mr Gough…

Is it just me or has he got a bit of a Dave Grohl look about him?

Can’t type, too angry! What the hell is going on there?

Oh nothing new I guess – there’s as much anecdotal evidence out there to support the view that the sentencing in this country is too harsh as there is to support the “tough on crime” Tory voters who think Britain is a soft haven for criminals. There’s no consistency and I appreciate that our judiciaries need to be flexible, need to be able to apply discretion and set precedents… need the freedom to treat each individual case on it’s own merits. And I know that what is reported in the media rarely bears any resemblance to the whole story… but it don’t half piss me off sometimes!

Can’t type, but not because I’m too angry. No, I’m too shallow for that. I can’t type because I’m too busy imagining Dave Grohl nekkid. Mmmmmmmm

He really does! And now I can imagine, with some degree of certainty, what Dave Grohl’s ass looks like.

It’s a valuable service I’m providing here – glad you appreciate it. Naked lookalikes? Hmmm… if only there was some way to access a multitude of free images of people in the altogether…

I am surprised that there is not more of a public outcry in Scotland, as it seems to me the principle and the cost of keeping a non-dangerous individual in prison is ridiculous. It seems to me that the Sheriff has a vendetta that is not in keeping with the public interest, and there has been no actual “breach of the piece”, which is what Gough is imprisoned for.
